Birdies & Clouds

I’ve been quilting clouds this afternoon! It’s a fun and easy shape, and I think it’s finishing off my birdie applique quilt quite nicely. I just have to show you my progress.

Thankfully, the sky outside is almost this blue and it’s starting to warm up outside, so I was able to spend some time in my studio today…without cranking the heater too bad!

Here’s looking forward to spring birds on my lawn!

    Nice job, I really like that quilt. I am looking for spring on my lawn soon also, but I bet it will be a lot longer than you have to wait.

    I don’t know, with all the snow we still have on the ground, I know it’s going to be a long wait…even for Iowa. I’m almost done sewing on the binding today!
